Community school brings innovative education through audio-visual aids

Kawaswoti, 28 Oct 2014: A community school here has started educating students through audio-visual aids.

Nawa Nepal Primary School based in Devchuli municipality-10, Nawalparasi has initiated teaching and learning activities through audio-visual technology after two Nepali students residing in the United Kingdom arranged computers and a multi-media projector for the purpose.

The computer classes have been initiated with the technological support from Kamal Bhusal and Narayan Pandey – locals of Pragatinagar who are currently pursuing their education in the UK, said Chairperson of the school management committee Shyam Sharma Bhusal.

It is so far the first school in Nawalparasi district to initiate such technology-enabled education.

The aid of computer and projector has been provided to the school to connect its students to the modern technological apparatuses, said Kamal Bhusal.

At a technology handover programme organized here on Monday, District Education Officer Khadga Bahadur Kamal said as the technology-enabled educational method is the best one other schools of the district have to take it as an example.
