Myagdi, July 31: In  Mudi VDC,  Myagdi district, search and rescue operation for those missing in landslide has been effected by constant  rainfall. Five are missing in the landslide that was triggered  Wednesday night.

A local resident Lokraj Roka said that rescue operation was affected by unfavorable climate. He poured his sorrows over effected people and also blamed state for not carrying rescue operation in an effective manner  at time of need and natural calamity.

Villagers said incessant rainfall was the major halt for effective rescue operations.

Krishnalal Pun and Husta Pun of Mudi-2, Kalo Gharti and Jit Bahadur Gharti of Mudi-1 and Bhim Bahadur Gharti of Mudi-3 are missing in the landslide, Deepraj Giri Police Constable at Muna Takam Police Post  said.

In spite of the ongoing climatic conditions locals, local youth clubs and police personnel have been carrying out search operation.
