Tilottama (Rupandehi), Oct 5: Constituent Assembly (CA) member Abdul Rajjak has said that a new constitution would be promulgated within upcoming January 22 at any cost.
Addressing a religious programme organised by the Sagrahawa Temple Management Committee Tilottama-13, Rupandehi yesterday, lawmaker Rajjak said a consensus-based constitution was their first priority. If the consensus was not possible, the constitution would be promulgated on the scheduled date even by going through a process, he added.
Political parties inside the CA should work honestly and with a full sense of responsibility to draft the constitution on time, he stressed.
Lawmaker Rajjak who represents the Nepali Congress in the CA assured that he would do his best for guaranteeing irrigation facility in the district.
