Cricket captain Paras Khadka returns home after successful surgery

Kathmandu, February 19, 2017: National cricket team Captain Paras Khadka has been discharged from hospital after a successful surgery of appendicitis.

Khadka was admitted to Grande International Hospital, Dhapasi on Friday after he suffered pain in stomach. According to medical director of the hospital Chakraraj Pandey, Paras was suffering from recurrent appendicitis with intestinal obstruction and doctors perform key-hole surgery to treat Khadka.

As the hospital scheduled follow-up treatment for next week, Khadka will not travel to India for practice matches scheduled for the national team.

Nepali national team is scheduled to play practice matches in India on February 26, February 28 and March 2, ahead of World Cricket League matches against Kenya at TU Ground on March 11 and 13.
