Myagdi, June 30, 2015: Student of some school in Myagdi district are still not being able to get the textbooks even after two months of new academic session.

The student are deprived of the textbooks due to the delay in printing, transportation and distribution in most of the community school.

According to District Education Officer Dilip Kumar Thakur, the earthquake occurred on April 25 has affected the textbooks publication and distribution. Meanwhile he added that the efforts are underway to supply the textbooks prior to beginning of the summer vacation.

As per the source nearly 50 percent of the eighth graders do not have the textbooks in the district while books of some optional subjects of grade 9 and 10 have not been supplied from the Janak Education Material Center.

The entire curriculum of the grade eight was changed from this academic session as the teaching learning activities of grade eight are affected due to lack of the textbooks
