Churtara. Aug.2 : The death toll due to landslide-triggered inundation at Jure of Sindhupalchok district has reached six. The only identified decreased are Bimal Shrestha and Shyam Shrestha of Mankha-1 while identity of rest are yet to be ascertained.
Efforts to open the blocked portion of the river have not yet been materialized.
The blockage has caused surge in the flow of the river that could risk Barhabise bazzar of inudation, said Keshar Bahadur Khatry, a local.
The landslide-triggered inudation has caused huge damages to three-megawatt power house of Sanima Hydropower located in the meeting point of Sunkoshi and BhoteKoshi river.
