Butwal, 29 Oct 2014: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Prakashman Singh, has said a democratic constitution was essential for political stability.

Nepal will definitely get the new constitution by January 22, the DPM said at a programme organized to inaugurate a building of Butwal Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He said if the consensus eludes, voting would be opted for finalizing disputed issues.

“Only democratic constitution can ensure political stability and development,” he underscored, adding the new constitution will end the protracted transition.

On the occasion, Nepali Congress leader and Constituent Assembly member Bal Krishna Khand said the political parties must come together to bring constitution on time.

The Butwal Chamber of Industry and Commerce has recently got a new leadership under Mahesh Man Singh.
