Kathmandu, Dec 28: The Parliamentary International Relations and Labour Committee has directed the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture to set up a mobilization and monitoring mechanism in order to ensure that the development committees under the Ministry work in an effective and result-oriented manner.
At the meeting of the Committee today, information was acquired about the progress, budget and state of affairs of the Committees under the Ministry with office-bearers of the Committees.
There are 11 Committees under Culture and 13 under Tourism section of the Ministry, with an annual budget of Rs. 390 million and Rs. 270 million respectively.
