Devotees throng Pashupatinath to mark final Shrawan Monday (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu, August 15, 2016: Scores of devotees thronged the Pashupatinath Temple today to mark the final Monday of the Nepali month Shrawan.

Women, married and single, who had taken fast praying for the longevity of their husbands and attainment of good spouses like Lord Shiva, had reached the holy Temple from the morning.

As Monday is believed to be the favourite day of Mahadev, women fast to please the Lord. Likewise, the month of Shrawan, according to the solar calendar, is believed to be the holiest to worship Lord Shiva.

Other devotees of the Lord Shiva also reached Pashupati to offer their prayers.
