Ilam, May 18: The District Forest Office, Ilam, has provided fire-resistant materials to community forest users’ groups in the southern of Ilam district.
The office provided fire-resistant materials to forest users’ groups of Irautar, Chulachuli, Danabari and Budhabare VDCs.
Assistant Forest Officer Surya Narayan Chaudhary said that 19 different fire-resistant materials including spray, slippers, boots, among others were distributed to Pathibhara Community Forest Users’ Group, Chulachuli, Namuna Community Forest Users’ Group, Danabari, Sukhani Community Forest Users’ Group, Irautar and community forest users’ groups at Budhabare after forming a Fire Control Network. Nine sets of fire-resistant materials were distributed, added Chaudhary.
