Differently-abled Children provided with Wheelchairs in Pokhara

Pokhara, 19 December 2017: Tokyo-based Volunteers’ Group, in the coordination with CBRS-Pokhara, provided more than thirty disable children with wheelchairs on Monday in a program held at Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City.

The program coordinator at the CBRS Pokhara, Krishna Lamichhane informed about the differently-abled children. He mentioned, ”We have been able to select these children starting from wards 1 to 22 and hope to enhance this distribution in the remaining wards in the future too.”

Lamichhane informed that the monetary range of the wheelchairs distributed cost Rs 15,000 to 30,000.

Bain Bahadur Chhetri, Coordinator at the District Coordination Committee, Kaski, praised the work initiated by the organization to help the differently-abled children. He lauded the volunteers’ benevolence and charity as well as the coordination by the CBRS-Pokhara.  Chhetri expressed his interest and concern to help the children and the organization.
