Domestic Airlines Slash Airfare

Kathmandu, December 6, 2016: Domestic Airlines in Nepal have decided to reduce the airfare. The airlines slashed airfares after the Nepal Oil Corporation reduced the fuel price on Monday. The new rates of fairs will be effective from Wednesday.

The meeting of the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal held today had decided to reduce the air charge. Price has been slashed by 90 rupees to KTM-Simara route, the shortest air distance. Similarly, for KTM-Dhangadhi, the longest travel-distance, ticket price has been slashed by 310 rupees.

After revision in the price, a passenger will have to pay 2,507 rupees to fly to Simara from KTM and 10,102 rupees from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi.

Similarly, airfare of mountain flight has also been reduced by 300 rupees.
