May 16, 2015: The monitoring of the earthquake-affected private colleges and schools has been started by the Higher Secondary School Association Nepal (HISAN) in the capital city.
From early this morning the office-bearers of the HISAN have been visiting the quake-hit schools and colleges, said Chair of HISAN, Kathmandu, Ramhari Silwal. Likewise, 20 schools and colleges were inspected in Kathmandu earlier on Friday.
The onsite visit of the academic institutions is to continue for a week and HISAN has planned to visit all the quake-hit schools and colleges. Silwal further added that besides inspecting the schools and colleges, discussions with the management teams and teachers were also held.
Similarly, HISAN has also asked its district committees to visit the schools that are damaged by the devastative earthquake and the subsequent aftershocks and prepare reports.
