June 25, 2015: 5.8 magnitude earthquake shakes Alaska, quake centeredÂ 64 miles (103 kilometers) west of Willow, and roughly 75 miles (121 kilometers) west-northwest of Anchorage. According toÂ USGSÂ depth was estimated at 65 miles.
No injuries are reported yet. Earthquake occurredÂ at 2:34 p.m.
Quake was centered inÂ mountainous area having few people so it is expected that there is less human injury. According toÂ USGS most structures in the region are resistant to damage from shaking.
