Kathmandu, Apr. 22:Â The World Bank has said the economic growth rate for the current fiscal year will be limited to 4.5 percent.
The biannual report of the bank made public here today that incorporates the latest economic outlook, states that the positive signs in agriculture and remittance will help achieve 4.5 percent growth rate.
The bank estimates the growth rate will be one percent less than projected by the government.
Bank’s country representative Jones Jatt making public major points of the report said political instability and lack of infrastructure were the hindrances of economic development of Nepal which has immense potentials for development.
