Gorkha, July 8: Different types of education materials have been provided to 150 students of Gandaki Primary School at Taklung-1 in Gorkha district.
The education materials including school bags, copies, pens and pencils, among others, were distributed to the students at the joint initiatives of Sahara International Air Hostess Academy, Butwal, the Harvard University Nepali Students Association and lumbinitimes.com, an online portal, said Director of the Lumbini Times, Sushil Ale.
The school was established in 2036 BS. At a programme, school headmaster, Chitra Bahadur Chepang, thanked the organisations for their support and it has inspired the students towards the education.
Similarly, Managing Director at the Sahara International Air Hostess Academy, Alok Bhattarai, expressed concern over the government’s failure to take initiatives to provide quality education in remote areas.
