Kathmandu, May 25, 2018: Foundation of Nepali Society (FONS) is going to organizing Art Mela – Children for Children. The Mela aims to provide platform for young Nepali talents and the theme of the Art Mela is SDGs.
The top three winners will compete globally and can win cash prizes and trip to New York.
Art Mela is a fundraising campaign for children of Gorkha who belong to underpriviledged group of people and are skipping lunch due to poverty avoiding school. With Art Mela, the children of urban cities will get a chance to excel their challenge and understand the importance of SDGs where the children of rural/remote areas get food to eat promoting their educational activities.
The Art Mela hopes to see thousand participants from hundred schools. The organizers believe this is going to be a huge mela for children who imagine and excel their creativity.
To participate in the event, interested participants will have to follow the follow the following procedure and the application forms should be submitted by 10th June. The steps for participation are :
- Display your creativity in a chart paper based any one of the 17 global goals
- Visit our website and download the application form.
- Submit the application form and your creation at our office ( Foundation of Nepali Society, Hadigaun,Kathmandu ) or let us know once you drop it at your school reception.
- Please submit the application fees is NRS. 150 along with the form and chart paper.
