Kathmandu, April 30, 2018: The community schools in Dhankuta district have started teaching-learning activities in English from this session. They chose to adopt English language as the parents started to move to urban areas for better education of their children.
The district education office, Dhankuta , said almost all the community schools in municipalities and rural municipalities have brought textbooks from Nursery to Grade III and started to teach children in English medium from this education office.
The teachers at the community schools shared that the parents have now started to send their children to community schools after they started teaching in English.
It is learned that two teachers had started teaching kids in the English medium in every community school. Guardians have also started to provide school uniforms and education materials to children up to grade III to improve their academic quality.
