Government Plans to Bring Children to School in This Academic Year

Dhanusha, August 24, 2018: Nepal Government has been planning to enroll as many students to bring the children to school by the end of this academic year.

A program organized by Jay Govinda Shah Study Center was conducted in Janakpur for the interaction about the federalism in the education system for those who are deprived of the school education system. Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Minister of Education, Science and Technology Nepal mentioned that the second round of student enrollment campaign will be completed by mid- September. He said that the government has been doing homework on the education plan for around 60,000 students who are deprived of education. According to the constitutional provision, he requested the local government to be responsible for running the enrolment campaign aiming for compulsory education.

The government has a goal to announce Nepal as the fully literate country next year by establishing a technical school per local government for accessible and simplifies technical education. Shortly a signature campaign will be launched after the campaign.
