Kathmandu, August 17, 2018: KUSOM Job and Internship Fair (KJIF), organized by the Placement Cell of Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), is an annual event which acts as a bridge between students of KUSOM and corporates. It not only gives students a platform to connect with the company of their choice, but also provides employers with an opportunity to explore the talent pool of KUSOM. This event aimed to reap maximum benefits and provide a win-win solution to both the parties by providing corporate houses their selected interns and new recruits, and the learners their first entry to the corporate world as interns, trainees and recruits. It also allows KUSOM to get corporate feedback on their management education and their talent pool.
This year KJIF was held on 14th and 15th of August at KUSOM premises.
Since its establishment in 2011, the event has been receiving an overwhelming response from the industry. 32 leading companies participated in KJIF 2017. The event has been able to achieve its mission of establishing the right connections with the industry which is reflected in the success rate of placements and feedback given by companies about the event. Surya Nepal, Unilever, Laxmi Group, CE Construction, Chaudhary Group, Global IME Bank, Sanima Bank, Nabil Bank, Sipradi, CAS Trading House, Laxmi Bank, Shankar Group, Metlife, MAW, Panchakanya, NIC Asia, Berger, Beed Management and Kathmandu Guest House (KGH), etc among many are some of the companies that have been regularly participating in the event.
