Kathmandu, December 12, 2017: Lord Buddha Education Foundation College (LBEF) in coalition with Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia, has commenced an educational collaboration in M.Sc.ITM (Masters in Science in Information Technology Management) and M.B.A (Masters in Business Administration). In a press conference held in capital, the collaboration for the masters program was announced.

LBEF’s Chairman Pankaj Jalan inaugurated the event by informing the basics about these courses and the specialties comprised within them. One of the major breakthroughs in their term has been the beginning of ‘weekend mode’, a special program designed for working graduate students. He described LBEF’s M.Sc.ITM to be one of the best programs in the country.”Our M.Sc.ITM will help strengthen the weakest sections of the managerial technology”, Jalan added.

APU’s vice president Gur Pradip Singh extolled the initiation and enthusiastic step of LBEF to introduce international education in Nepal. Additionally he mentioned, “In any coordination, a partner plays a vital role in the decision of benefit. We were in search of such partner and discovered LBEF was the best choice, because in terms of financing and shaping the future of students it has proved to be the best fit than any other universities of Nepal.”

APU, a Malaysian premier university, has been extending itself in the South Asian countries and aims to produce manpower who can strategically manage their enterprise. Singh was optimistic about the collaboration.

LBEF’s chief academic adviser Prof.Dr.Sunity Shrestha Hada talked about the prospects of admission to the programme. When raised a question about the acceptance rate of the graduate admission, she mentioned, “Even though we have mentioned about the applicants needing a minimum of 45% in their undergraduate program, we have ensured every student gets the opportunity to apply and eventually the result is decided by the entrance examination.”
