Kathmandu, 3 Jan 2014: Chairman of Higher Secondary School’s Association Nepal (HISSAN) and lawmaker Umesh Shrestha has said that practical education was the need of the hour.
Inaugurating the Third Kathmandu District Convention of HISSAN here Saturday, lawmaker Shrestha said a better administration was required for a better education system adding that practical knowledge was more important than that of bookish.
He argued that the private academic institutions were getting priority due to deteriorating academic status of the government institutions.
On the occasion, district advisor of Kathmandu HISSAN Bishnuraj Poudel, Chairman of ECAN Rajendra Baral, Chairman of HISTAN Dipak Subedi and others expressed their opinions on country’s education system.
