Kathmandu, October 4, 2018: Rajbiraj established an Agriculture Knowledge Center. Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Province 2 established the center to train and provide the services to the farmers of Saptari and Siraha districts regarding agriculture.
Shailendra Prasad Sah, Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives directed the officials to concentrate on farmer’s issues in inauguration program of the Center. He added, ” The center should provide the best possible services to the farmers and the officials must be answerable if no result was visible within three months. The officials should end the game of commission while calling the tenders to purchase the chemical fertilizer. ”
Meanwhile, Minister Sah also inaugurated Liaison Office which will provide experts to train to the farmers to modernize and mechanize agriculture and pastoral farming and ensure commercialization.
