Kathmandu, June 12, 2018: An event tiled ‘What After SEE?’ to provide SEE appeared students with guidance and information about colleges and courses to choose for their career was organized on 9th June at Outdoor Adventure Centre, Thamel.
The event took off with a motivational speech from Rohit Malla. It was followed by moderation session hosted by Samir Rijal that featured the panel of speakers including Bikash Gurung (President of Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN), Suresh Basistha (President of Nepal Astronomical Society – NASO), GD Pandey (Founder of Emerald Education), Rukmagat Kafle (Founder of Nepal International Financial Center(NIFC)) and Sachin Dangi (Founding president of Teenage Society Nepal) .The discussion session shed light on the careers one can choose after SEE and how critical thinking and interest focused choice making could help the students have a successful career.
The session was then followed by a musical performance by Dipin Karki before closing with an presentation by GD pandey on the educational system of the country. The event came to an end with a networking session where the SEE graduates interacted with the panelists and the other speakers about their queries about their subjects of interest and how to pursue them successfully.Teenage Society Nepal (TSN) and District Child Club Network Kathmandu jointly organized the event .
Sachin Dangi, Founding President at TSN and one of the organizers, said the event was a success with a total of 150 SEE appeared students coming forward with their queries regarding career options for the future and got guidance from the experts on the panel. He also expressed gratitude to everyone including participants, supporters and well-wishers for making the event successful. .
