Kathmandu, June 11, 2018 : The education sector has the highest number of complaints registered at The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority in the fiscal year 2018.
According to the data from the CIAA, as many as 3,044 complaints filed at the Commission are related to the education sector followed by Ministry of General Administration and Federal Affairs at 2,904 complaints and the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives at 1087 complaints.
AcRameshwor Dangal, spokesperson for the Commission, most of the complaints were related to irregularities in scholarship distribution, development of infrastructure and book procurement. The complaints are also related to irregularities in the appointment of temporay teachers.
A total of 9,098 complaints were registered at the commission in the fiscal year so far, added Mr Dangal.
