Pathari, Feb 10,2015: The Election Commission has begun an election orientation programme for the people with hearing impairment in Morang district.
There are 28 such people from Ilam, Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur and Dhankut attending the orientation.
During the training through the sign language, the hearing impaired people will be made aware on how they could cast vote, how to judge election candidate and others.
Inaugurating the training, Under Secretary at the Commission, Surya Prasad Aryal, said as all citizens have equal rights to enjoy democracy, the orientation would help the people with disability on the election issues.
