Dolakha April 30,2015: Eleven police personnel have gone missing in the district for five days. The District Police Office has urged the Disaster Rescue Committee to search the missing police personnel.
The police personnel were deputed at the Sanwa-based temporary police beat in the district. They are out of contact since 11:00 am on Saturday, police added. The casualties at Chilankha, Alampu, Bigu and Khopachagu VDCs are yet to be ascertained.
Superintendent of Police, Ajay KC has informed that a rescue team with helicopter would be dispatched at the affected areas soon.
Similarly, Chief District Officer (CDO) Prem Lal Lamichhane has stated that they were trying to release the report on casualties but due to the obstruction of telephone line and power supply has affected the rescue works. RSS
