End In Public Transport Monopoly Demanded

April 6,2015: The end of the monopoly in the public vehicle has been demanded by Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs’ Supreme Federation.

As per the SC in 2067 BS it had been ordered that the public transport be run through competition rather of monopoly.

The Federation in a press meet today said that strict implementation of Supreme Court order to ensure healthy competition among the providers of the public transport service was needed by ending the syndicate system.

The Action of federation  with formation of high- level commission was necessarily required to solve the problems,said Federation Chairman Bishnu Shivakoti. As per his suggestion , an alternative bus park and proper parking lot were necessary in this section.

Likewise,  the compensation could be managed of half million rupees to those who are killed in the accident
