Pathari (Morang), Feb 22,2015: Division engineer at Sunsari-Morang Irrigation Project, Tara Prasad Poudel, has been transferred from Biratnagar as a punishment, for he had taken control of journalist Brahmadev Yadav and attacked him.
Engineer Poudel was transferred to the eastern irrigation office.
He had attacked journalist Yadav one and half month back reasoning that the journalist had written on the corruption in the irrigation project with the former’s involvement.
The project office has further said even the efforts were on to transfer other engineers involved in the attack
