6 December,2014: Sushant Singh Rajput is on a roll ever since he made his debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’. Slowly, emerging as the most sought after actor, Rajput, who likes to keep a remarkably low profile, has several enviable projects on his platter.
The actor will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’ this month while his next release will be Yashraj Film’s ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ in which he plays the title role. Not to forget that the actor has also bagged the production house’s ‘Paani’ to be helmed by Shekhar Kapur, a venture touted to be one of the most expensive films to made in Bollywood.
That’s not all, he will also feature in Neeraj Pandey’s biopic ‘M. S. Dhoni -The Untold Story’. And now he has signed Homi Adajania’s next directorial venture to be produced by Dinesh Vijan. The news was confirmed by his spokesperson. “Yes, Sushant is doing Homi Adajania and Dinesh Vijan’s next film. However, it is too early to share more details,†said the source.
Reportedly, the actor’s co-star will be none other than Alia Bhatt. When contacted, Bhatt’s manager stated that she was not allowed to comment on this.
