Kathmandu, November 2, 2018: Executive Leadership Development Programme (ELDP) is launched by Leadership Academy Nepal and Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business (Rice Business). The flagship training programme is a week-long residential programme at Hotel Mystic Mountain in Nagarkot.
The programme targets to provide advanced leadership training and strategic management capabilities to the owners, chief executive officers and senior managers across Nepal. In the past, above 40 executives from banking, insurance, hospitality, telecom, and other sectors completed the programme.
The associate dean for Innovation Initiatives and executive director of Executive Education at Rice Business, Michael L Koenig said that the collaboration with LAN and Rice Business Executive Education aims to set the benchmark as the high-skilled learning and development accelerator for Nepal and South Asia. Likewise, the importance of building effective and adaptive business leaders for Nepal was emphasized by Prof Sriram Bhagut Mathe, chairman and chief executive officer, and Arun R Joshi, founder and chief technical officer of LAN.
At the programme, speeches were delivered by the Rice University Professors, Brent Smith and Balaji Koka. ‘Executive Education’ certificates from Rice Business were also received by the participants.
