Belauri (Kanchanpur), 11 June, 2015 :Â Free eye check-up camp was organised by The Geta Eye hospital branch in Mahendranagar at Beldandi on Wednesday.
Officer at the Hospital Birsingh Dhami said that the camp was organized with the objective of  increasing rural people’s access to public health and also considering the increasing number of eye patients at the Beldandi primary health centre.
The eye camps were hosted in Rauleswar and Siddhanath schools in Beldandi where 832 people underwent eye check-up. It was found that out of total, 147 were suffering from cataract. They will undergo free surgery at the initiative of the hospital.
According to the organizers, the locals have requested for regular organizing of such camps and more in the rural southern part of the district,
