Khalanga (Baitadi), Aug. 7: A fake examinee and a teacher have been arrested from the Birendra Higher Secondary School, Shahilek, examination centre, today in course of the SLC supplementary exam.
The arrested are Surendra Bohara and teacher of the same school, Naresh Dhami.Bohara was taking the examination in place of Khadka Bahadur Kunwar.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Shrestha said that they have arrested Dhami for investigation.A team headed by Chief District Officer, Sagarmani Pathak, arrested Bohara soon after they found him sitting in the exam in place of Kunwar in course of checking.
Police said that search for Kunwar was underway as he has been absconding after the incident.Chief District Officer Pathak said that they would recommend the Office of the Controller of Examination for necessary action against the fake examinee.
A total of 1,996 students of Baitadi district are appearing in this year’s supplementary exam. RSS
