Kathmandu, 28 August, 2015: The top six finalists have been selected for the first “Glocal teen hero, 2015” after a very competitive 98 entries.
The jury member consists of prominent figures like Anil Keshary Shah, Gagan Thapa, Narrotam Aryal, Samriddhi Rai and Saurabh Jyoti . The selected teenagers are Mr. Aditya khadka aged 15 years, Mr Avanees Naman Yadav aged 17 years, Miss Bipana Sharma aged 17 years , Mr Ravi Mandal aged 17 years, Miss sampradha chapagain and Mr swastik Ghimire . All these selected teenagers will face the jury in the interview scheduled at 31 st August.
The winner will be declared in an event that will be telecast live on Himalaya TV at September 1 from 3 pm onwards. The program has been organised by Glocal Khabar in strategic alliance with the ministry of Youth and Sports, sponsored by Panchkanya, co-sponsored by Honda, bank partner mega bank, supported by World Link, Jenya, UNYSAN, magazine partner Business 36o, hospitality partner Hotel Annapurna and live telecast partner Himalaya Television.
It is a designed platform for teenagers (aged 13-19) who have initiated, involved, achieved or innovated outside of their school’s respective curriculum. The sole purpose to organize this program is to motivate more of the other teenagers in our country to develop an entrepreneurial thinking for the betterment of our nation.
