Belauri (Kanchanpur), 24 February, 2015 : The Far-Western Industrial Trade Fair, organised at the Open Theatre in Mahendranagar from February 13, concluded witnessing transactions worth Rs 50 million.
The fair was organised by the Kailali-Kanchanpur chapter of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI).
President of the CNI and Fair Main Organising Committee, Hem Bikram Thapa, said that the some 150,000 people visited the 11-day fair. The number of visitors was high in the fair this year as compared to previous year.
Ostrich and body building were the main attraction of the fair. Different stalls selling handicraft, agro products and alternative energy equipment and others were kept in the fair.
The organisers believe the fair would help in the industrial and tourism development, and in the promotion of domestic products of the area.
