May 21, 2015: A man in Morang is sentenced to jail for 8 years and 6 months for raping his daughter. He raped his adopted daughter.
Judge Shekhar Prasad Poudel announced that Gopal Prasad Sharma will be jailed for raping his 15 year old daughter. He is also fined 75000 rupees. The FIR was filed on behalf of the rape survivor last year in September.
Gopal adopted the girl when she was 4 years old, after her mother died.
