‘2W Project’ launched in Butwal to mark International Women’s Day (Photo Feature)

Butwal, March 8, 2017: Nepalese Students’ Club (NSC) on Wednesday, March 8, launched 2W Project to mark 107th International Women’s Day. 2W Project, which stands for Women Warrior Project, is an initiation by NSC to make the world a better place to live in.

NSC president and vice-president officially launched the project with 20 special girl-students (Women Warriors) from New Horizon Higher Secondary School in Butwal, who will be acting as representatives for the women all around the world. The Women Warriors be writing about the present-day society views towards women and their responsibilities in building the world a better place to live in. These writings will be featured in different national as well as international news media portals so the world can know about these problems and work-out for the solution.

The group was formed in the school with the coordination of New Horizon NSC Panel.

On the occasion, the participants were provided with various educational materials and gift hampers. The ceremony also had an idea sharing session in which the participants had written their views and opinions about 2W Project. They even had Chart Paper Decoration with the slogan “Be Bold for Change”.

All the participants present on the ceremony promised to work efficiently as the Women Warriors till the next International Women Day in 2018, and make the world a better place to live in with mutual understanding and cooperation among males and females.
