Keeping the Drama Culture Alive
Kathmandu, August 16, 2017: Ace Drama Club from Ace Institute of Management is all set to stage ‘Khari Bina Ko Madal’ during Ace Annual Drama at Rastriya Nach Ghar, Jamal on August 19, 2017.
This is the fifth iteration of the annual mega event hosted by students of the undergraduate level at Ace Institute of Management.
“The main motive of Ace Annual Drama is to preserve the drama culture among the Nepalese people,” Saroj Basnet, coordinator of the festival this year shared to Glocal Khabar. He further informed that rehearsal for the drama is at the final stage.
The battle between following our passion and doing what the society tells us to do dates back to a long time ago. Directed by Kishor Anurag, ‘Khari Bina Ko Madal’ talks about passion, friendship, relationships, denial, love, and realization in youths. This is the story of most of the teenagers of our society.
Paru, the protagonist character in the drama is in a huge dilemma in whether to follow the path that her heart leads or simply nod and do whatever the society tells her to do.
Will she stand up for herself and pursue her passion or will she breakdown and give up everything just to make the society happy?
Be there at Rastriya Nachghar, Jamal this August 19 to find out the answer.
