Kathmandu, April 29, 2018: Agro fair starts today in Banepa and Panauti, organized by joint efforts of Kavre Agriculture Market Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd Banepa, Sambriddha Agriculture Cooperative and Prime Minister Agriculture Modernisation Project. It is a four-day agriculture fair in Banepa municipality and three-day tourism festival along with agro fair in Bihawar, Panauti.
The event was inaugurated by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sher Bahadaur Tamang. He emphasized to work towards exporting agro products by modernizing the agriculture sector to avert money from going abroad in the event.
At the agro fair, vegetables, organic manure, meat products, agriculture-related technology have been put on display in Banepa. Likewise, paragliding was major attraction at the tourism festival along with trout, bee honey, vegetables, fruits and agro products in Panauti.
On the event Mayor of Panauti, Bhim Neupane stated they are working on the plan to introduce commercial paragliding services in Panauti.
