Kathmandu, May 7, 2018 : The search is on for the 2018 SDG Pioneers at the UN Global Compact. SDG Pioneers are individuals working at any level in a company, who are doing an exceptional job of making global goals local business. Through their own company or by mobilizing other businesses, they are helping to reach one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while also contributing to business success.
Each year a the UN identifites group of SDG Pioneers are to shine a spotlight on individuals who champion sustainability and are mobilizing companies to be a force for good. The applications are now open and youths from around the world are invited to become a pioneer in the new SDG era.
An individual can either apply themselves or nominate someone else who they seem fitting to be celebrated as the SDG Pioneer.
