Kathmandu,27 Jan 2015: The Tribhuvan Army Club has started off its season with a win over Jhapa 11 Football Club in the National Football League on Tuesday.
The Army club defeated Jhapa 1-0 in the game played at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor securing three points.
A single goal netted by Army’s Tek Bahadur Budhathoki in just six minutes into the play became the decisive goal. Budhathoki headed a corner from Raju Tamang to put the Army club in front.
In the tournament, Manang Marsyangdi Club, Three Star and Lumbini Club have added three points each.
The Three Star Club will play against Sudur Pachimanchal Football Club on Wednesday.
