Kathmandu, 14 December, 2017: Application is now open for local representative for the second edition of Glocal International Teen Conference and the fourth edition of Glocal Teen Hero scheduled to be held on 1 September, 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Glocal Pvt. Ltd is organizing the conference to create a platform for knowledge and experience sharing where teenagers can learn about leadership, empowerment and social impact through a participatory and interactive environment with their peers from all over the globe.
Similarly, Glocal Teen Hero is a platform for teenagers where they can showcase their initiation, creativity and enthusiasm.
All the Local representatives shall be certified for their works and the ‘Best Local Representative’ shall receive an invitation to attend the conference with a waiver of conference fees.
Eligibility
- Should be aged 15-20
- Should be a Nepali Citizen
- Should be an active member of his/her society
- Someone with demonstrated leadership skills, proactive, dedicated and passionate to work for the development of youths, particularly teenagers.
Job Description:
- Initiate and execute various activities in their home- district to promote GITC and GTH
- Linkage with the local organizations/ youth organizations to foster partnership and collaboration for GITC/GTH
- Play active role in the activation and promotion of GTH
- Reporting the work flow and activities along with multimedia content to the GITC/GTH Committee
- Carry out works as directed by GITC/ GTH Committee that is in line with the GITC/GTC
