Death Toll Reaches 4,266 in Country due to Earthquake

Kathmandu, April 28, 2015: The number of deaths caused by April 25 earthquake and aftershocks has reached 4,266 across the country, said the Home Ministry.

According to the National Emergency Operation Centre under the Ministry, the number of people injured in the quake has reached 7,598.

As many as 1,029 were killed in Kathmandu, 1176 in Sindhupalchowk, 241 in Bhaktapur, 223 in Gorham, and 157 in Lalitpur districts, updated the Centre. RSS
