Bhaktapur, March 28, 2018: The old photos captured by the famous Geologist of Switzerland Mr. Toni Hagen (Ph.D.) were exhibited in Bhaktapur.
The exhibition was introduced by Hagen’s daughter Katryn Hagen in Ganchhe of Bhaktapur Municipality on Monday evening. The photography includes the photos of Kathmandu valley and its surroundings which were taken in the 1950s.
The exhibition included lots of beautiful photographs of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kritipur, archeological heritage, historical buildings, historical ponds, Durbar square among others,
As said by the conservationist Mr. Rabindra Puri the beautiful 50 photographs taken by Hagen would be kept in exhibition till April 1. He added that the exhibition was organized to uplift people for the protection and conservation of heritage from further devaluation.
On the inauguration day, Katryn Hagen expressed her pleasure regarding the exhibition of the photography of her father and expressed the extremely beauties of the Kathmandu valley and the historical heritage
