Kathmandu, 28 December, 2017: Kathmandu University is going to organize Idea Hunt Competition on 6 January 2018 at IT Park in Panauti, Kavre. Idea Hunt Competition is an annual mega tech event organized by the university since the last twelve years. Idea Hunt Competition is a peculiar competition which provides participants with a vibrant platform to showcase their creative and innovative business ideas.
The participants should be able to present their idea in front of a panel of expert judges. The expertise will select the winners on the basis of the creativity, impact and feasibility of the idea.
The key to the competition is a pristine imagination for proposing the idea and a strong business strategy. The idea can be anything but it should utilize technology as a tool.
Each team participating in the competition should have a maximum of three team members. The shortlisted candidates will be provided idea pitching workshop from an experienced mentor on 3 January, 2018. Then, the contestants will pitch the ideas on 6 January, 2018.
Winners of this competition will be provided with mentorship and resources to convert the idea from paper to business. The panel of judges will give the winners a recommendation in order to get an incubation space at IT Park.
Prizes:
1st – Rs. 10,000 and Khalti API worth Rs. 50,000
2nd – Rs 5,000 and Sparrow SMS API worth Rs. 15,000
3rd – Rs 3,000 and credit value of Rs. 2,000 on Khalti account
