Pokhara, March 27, 2018: International Conference on Accessible Adventure with a theme “Inspiration and Perspiration” of 2018 is going to be held from March 29-31 2018 in Pokhara Hotel Shangri-La La in Nepal organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). This conference relates to the awareness, planning, commitment and collaboration necessary to make Nepal “The Accessible Adventure capital of Asia.”

The main objective of the conference is to focus international best practices in inclusive tourism for “slow-walker” senior and mobile disabled travelers leading to improved tourism facilities, services, and marketing that will increase the number of tourists/visitors to Nepal and create new opportunities for employment in Nepal and experience the country’s wonders.

Conference day will open with a “Light the Light” cultural presentation followed by VIP introduction and a discussion of the Nepal Accessible adventure mission

ICCA 2018 focuses on the accessible adventure as it is a subset of accessible tourism focused on meeting the needs of “slow walker” seniors and the mobile disabled (this can include prosthetics, deaf, blind, cognitive, families, etc.) IDI’s proposed strategic plan firstly focuses on assisting Pokhara to become the model of accessible adventure destination of Nepal and only after that focusing on other destinations

Nepal leads the world in adventure for the adventurous and now is perfectly positioned to address adventure for all. ICAA 2018 will be the catalyst for funding and expertise to develop a practical, actionable and business-centric Nepal Accessible Adventure Strategic Plan.
