Nepalese Students’ Club sets up Fiber Dustbins in Butwal

Butwal, December 1, 2016: Nepalese Students’ Club (NSC) has set up Fiber Dustbins in various locations in Butwal.

The student organization had set up the dustbins as part of the ‘Clean and Green Butwal’ campaign they are leading.

The project in charge Mr. Kismat Pachhai has stated that started the campaign as part of the mobilization phase of ‘COP IN MY CITY’ in Butwal, a youth led global project to inspire local climate actions in all cities of the world.  “We carried out rally in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City with architectural model of clean and green Butwal and other pamphlets full of positive messages. The students also collected signatures of many people on their wall of signature titled: I promise to keep my city clean,” he added.

They too got signatures of the Finance Minister and ICT Minister of Government of Nepal along with thousands of other people. On 25th November, they set up fiber dustbins in 12 different places of Butwal.

On the same date, Samriddha Nepal organized a rally and a cleanliness programme to support the Clean and Green Butwal campaign, in collaboration with NSC, ajakcha.com, MSEC and Dari Gang of Butwal. The campaign was supported by Buddha Fiber Udyog, Tilottama H.S.S Yogikuti, Manimukunda college, Cactus Copy Udyog, kalika Youth Club, Adhikhola Tole Sanitation Sub-committee and Sadhana Sanskritik Kala Kendra to make it successful.

The campaign asks everyone to think on building each city clean & green so that finally we can achieve common goal of building clean and green Nepal.
