NYF 2018 concludes with the declaration of youth Icons

Kathmandu, June 20, 2018: The 2018 edition of National Youth Fest (NYF) concluded with the declaration National Youth Icons in male and female category on 17th June at National College, Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.

The three day event focused mainly  on the youths to help them develop creative, critical, social and communicative skills. The three days event was  filled with sessions, workshops, games and competitions, ranging from hardcore learning to extreme fun.

There were sessions by renowned figures from different sectors of the country including Deepak Bista (Taekwondo Player), Bikram Lama (Football Player), Asish Thakur (Glocal Pvt. Ltd.), Priya Sigdel (Miss Nepal Earth 2018) and Tikaram Yatri (News Chief AP1 Television) among others.

The festivals saw participation from nearly 400 visitors where food stalls and photo booth played the role as main attractions. Hon. Dr. Baburam Bhattarai was the chief guest of the closing ceremony on 18th June, 2018.

Prajwol Bista and Saira Khadka became the ‘NATIONAL YOUTH ICON’  in male and female categories where Sajan Malla, Denisha Chaulagain, Adwitya Gurung, Aarjan Bdr. Singh, Siddhartha Neupane, Rupsi Parajuli, Abhiyan Koirala, Sriyans Rauniyar received accolades as Enthusiastic, Creative, Personality, Gentle, Intellectual, Confident, Social and Most cheerful participants respectively. Anish Gautam and Aagya Paudel stood out in the Individual talent show in the male and female category.
