Open Space Network to screen the films from 60 Seconds International Film Festival

    Kathmandu, January 7, 2018: Open Space Network (OSN), as the country partner for 60 Seconds International Film Festival (60SIFF), is set to screen as many as forty 60 Second Film from all around the world in AP1 HD Television. The screening is scheduled from January 8 up to January 11 at 8:30 PM – 8:45 PM.

    This year’s competition saw 1500 films participating from thirty-six different countries. Nepal alone had sent twenty-two films. Movies were produced on the prescribed theme ‘Colours of Your Country’.

    Faija Parween, the Country Director of 60SIFF for Nepal and Founder of OSN shared, “Creativity has no limitations. Young people can use 60 Second Films as a platform to advocate and promote citizen journalism. Our main motto is to educate, aware and inspire.”

    Open Space Network (OSN) is partnering with Morango Films, a filmmaking company from Pakistan and the initiator of the competition in 2013. Similarly, CG Entertainment, Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Search For Common Ground Nepal and Professional Educational Consultancy are among the helping hands.

    The event has been providing a knowledge field for the global youth to display their work by capturing the challenges within their societies in just 60 seconds.
