Birgunj,17 Dec 2014: The three government offices in Parsa district have started providing services to service seekers for 12 hours a day from today after the government new policy to run some offices for 12 hours based on the service recipients’ flow.
The Narayani Zonal Transport Management Office, Birgunj, Chief Rajendra Ghimire said that the office recorded less number of service recipients this morning mainly due to chilling cold.
The flow of service seekers would increase gradually after the days get warmers in the district.
Similarly, Chief at the District Customs Office Bijay Poudel said that service seekers have started visiting the office from the morning.
He said the government offices including Transport management, Customs Office and Survey Office would open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Assistant Chief District Officer Anuj Bhandari said other government offices would also provide services for 12 hours gradually.
